- David Stinson exercises complete substantive and editorial control over the content of the reports of Stinson Analytical.
- At no time are draft reports vetted or otherwise reviewed by potential or existing customers. From time to time, outside parties may however be asked to confirm the accuracy of specific facts or statements. On occasion, current or prospective customers may be canvassed in advance to determine the level of interest in a particular topic.
- Stinson Analytical does not conduct “custom” or “sponsored” research, in the sense of a report commissioned by a client (or group of clients) that becomes their property, and the disclosure, publication or content of which is subject to their control.
- All Stinson Analytical reports remain the intellectual property of Stinson Analytical and will be available for purchase by customers.
- Stinson Analytical does not accept payments or other inducements to influence the content or conclusions of our reports or to include mentions or endorsements of particular products or market participants.
- Stinson Analytical does not participate in client- or industry-organized marketing or public relations activities.
- Stinson Analytical does not participate in regulatory proceedings, or in any similar proceedings designed to influence government policy, on behalf of clients as an expert witness, advisor or advocate. However, subject to additional compensation and a separate licence agreement with Stinson Analytical, the option may exist for clients to include or quote Stinson Analytical reports in submissions to regulators or government.
- Stinson Analytical’s business model is based on the sale of non-custom research and analysis to multiple (and hopefully repeat) customers. As a result, it has every incentive to produce what it believes to be reports of the highest quality possible, unlike others who may provide “free” research with a view to a) encouraging demand for non-research-related products or services, or b) advocating a policy position by means of purportedly “independent” research.
